I have a challenge for anyone with a blog, let’s post a few of our unpopular opinions. They can be about whatever you want. They can be about anime, games, writing, films, politics or anything, even how to make the perfect cheese toastie. I believe the word is better the more we communicate. That isn’t to say we should be questioning each other’s opinions, but we should be listening to their views first.
The more people are willing to read the more they understand. So, let’s share our opinions no matter how extreme. You can either explain your point or not. It’s up to you.
Before starting there is one rule, you cannot argue in the comments. You can not agree or disagree with anything stated in this post. If you do agree or disagree, you keep that to yourself. You cannot disagree or agree with anyone else’s opinion, that must also be kept to yourself.
I’ll start by saying that the recent events of Queen Elizabeth’s passing have been unnecessarily harsh from various people. Regardless of your opinion, she was a mother and grandmother. She had people who loved her and people who hated her just like everyone else.
Next, here is a weird one for you Love Live fans, but I believe that Kusunoki Tomori is the best singer in the Niji show, however, her solo songs are average if not bad because of how she mumbled and whispers most of her songs. I believe that she is one of the best singers alive with an insanely powerful voice but is ruined by the whispers and mumbles throughout her solo songs.
Next opinion, The devil’s advocate is a great way to debate and understand both sides. By playing devil’s advocate you can help understand both sides better. A lot of people I know hate the idea of a devil’s advocate, but by denying that you are kinda denying free speech.
Next unpopular opinion, you don’t need to read to write. In fact, you don’t need to write anything good to be popular. Writing is insanely subjective. Fan fiction has taught us that you don’t need to be the best, you just need to do it. If you want to write then do it. Don’t listen to people who say you have to read tons, or you have to interview a million people just to write something good. A lot of popular classics are overrated. This brings me to my next and final unpopular opinion.
Poetry.
Poetry is rubbish. The only reason people say poetry is good is because of the meaning they have created for it. If you think little of a poem it ends up being rather rubbish. The author of the poems probably didn’t intend most meanings people come up with. It’s merely those that study it that have given it the deep thoughtful meaning that it has today. Without them, it would be a forgotten art form.
So there you have it, some unpopular opinions.
I hope others will do the same either on their own blogs or in the comments below. We can’t learn to accept each other without understanding what they believe in.
My opinions are certainly weird but they serve as inspiration to others.
