Welcome to my blog! My name is Fabledbyte, but mostly I go by SlippyfopTV/Slippyfop or just Owen. I’m a huge fan of Anime and Manga as well as a lover of all music. I suffer from mental health issues a lot and try to do all I can to spread the message and share my experience. You can learn a lot more about me through my variety of posts.
I went to university where I studied Video Game Programming, as I always had a keen interest in it. I passed with a first-class degree in 2020 and found my love of writing in 2019 (around the same time this blog started).
To summarise this place, I’ve written a short Q&A that you can see below. If you have any additional questions, you can ask on X (Twitter).
What is this blog?
This blog started back in early 2019 as a place where I originally posted Short stories and chapter-based Stories. But in December 2019, this blog changed and became what it is today, a place where I can write what I want, share my thoughts and more. Typically, posts are me talking about things I’ve done, reviews of things I’ve seen and thoughts in my mind. I try to stay as unbiased as possible in this blog, but sometimes that is tricky with the current state of the world.
This blog coincides with my writing, YouTube, live streaming, podcasts and more!
What can I find on this blog?
You will find various content from short stories, film reviews, video game reviews, chapter-based stories and more. There are posts about my views and philosophy on life. You can find all sorts of content on this blog, so I recommend having a look around and seeing what you can find! You never know what you might find that you enjoy!
You can start by checking out the front page. You can find four posts linked up top. These parts will change every now and then and are posts I consider to be my current favourites.
Where can I read your books?
As mentioned, my writing journey started on this blog. There are still some exclusive stories on this blog, under the Chapter-based, or Short Stories categories. The chapter-based stories eventually moved over to a web novel site, so if you wish to find and read more of my web novels, you can do so here.
I also have a few books on Amazon. Most of these books come in physical form, but all come in eBook format. So you can view them for cheap with an Amazon Kindle or the Amazon Kindle Smartphone app.

Where can I follow you on Social Media?
My main social media is Twitter. I have a Twitter account that I regularly tweet from. I post random interesting thoughts along with updates regarding books, streaming, YouTube or whatever. It’s the best place to interact with me, and I highly recommend following.
What is Arbitrary Echo & One Dice?
Both Arbitrary Echo and One Dice are podcasts and are both available on most podcast services!
Arbitrary Echo is a podcast I host with my friend from university, MuddaDukka. Arbitrary Echo is full of random topics, events going on in the world, politics, and more. We use it as a platform to freely speak our minds and hopefully share our opinions.
One Dice is a Dungeons & Dragons inspired podcast where everything is decided through one 20-sided die. I take a guest on a strange scenario where they can do whatever they want. There is no set goal, and they can solve problems in whatever way they see fit. It’s a good laugh and a great game that is easy to play.
What is Lagging Morals?
Lagging Morals is a YouTube channel I run with some friends. We create various gaming content, funny moments, laughs and more. It is currently a large part of my focus! The project is too big to talk about in just this one small section. You can find out more on the page about Lagging Morals.
