In comparison to others

In comparison to others, I’m doing ok.

In comparison to others, I’m doing great.

There are people in this world who will hate someone because of such a minor thing.

If the above paragraph was understood by you. I can only offer my condolences, but then again, you may be the person I’m talking about.

Everyone in this world is selfish.

Everyone has an ego.

That ego, that selfishness, is what affects others.

I know many people that are effected by the ego of those that they trust dearly.

Your partner.

Your parents.

Your friends.

Your family.

Ego is the killer.

Ego is what kills everything.

We believe what we want to.

I am delusional. I’ll always admit it. I want the world to think the way I do but know that it can never happen.

But, do others think about me?

Do others think about anything?

There is a common “meme” on the internet, and that is the idea that no one else is real. No one else can relate to you because they don’t exist. That in itself is a contradiction, but also the best thing you’ll ever hear.

I want people to not think about me.

Yet, I want everyone to think about me.

It’s so contradictory that you can’t complain, yet you know why you think that way.

You think that way because of one person.

I have that one person.

I know the one person.

We try so hard, yet struggle so much. We are delusional in any sense.

Yet, here we are.
