If you want change be the person that appears in the History books, not the person someone doing their Master’s degree discovered because of their very niche topic.
If you want change be the person that is taught to all, not the person who screams about it on social media.
History has shown change has come from one historical figure leading, while there are many supporters. Many had their methods and showed it worked, but there needs to be a trigger to set it off. As of this moment, no one seems to want to be that leader. No one wants to create real change and stand up for themselves, they all just sit by and support useless petitions or stand outside parliament with signs. There is no chance of the government returning because the leaders are silent and leave it to the people. The leader should be standing up and fighting, not sitting with the rest to hide amongst the crowd.
History has shown many great leaders who fought for what they have now. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Gandhi. All leaders who lead and stayed prominent figures in history and their time (Regardless of what they were like outside their fights).
I’m willing to be very few people know the name of the person who organises the protests they go to, and if it is even the same person each time.
No change will be made this way. There is no chance of life-changing events occurring because the government don’t care about a group unified by an idea. But they are scared of a group unified by a strong unyielding leader.
To elaborate, the government will laugh at a group with no leader because eventually you’ll all collapse on yourself and go home to your lives as if nothing happened, you’ll eventually forget whatever happened that day. But a leader will unify people together. History shows governments are scared of leaders.
Be the leader who makes it into the history books. Be the leader who will continue to repeat fights until he has won. Be the leader that will make a change. Don’t be the leader that has been countless times before you.
