There are a million stories about people and fame. There are people who got famous after death. People who had a one-hit wonder followed by nothing else. And people who got it right first try. I think it comes down to what you consider success. It’s ok to say success is this massive goal so long as you are determined to work towards it. But success can also be the littlest of accomplishments. The tiny little things you do daily are just as important as the final goal you strive for.
What you define as success is also what is stopping you from being happy.
I’d say that success is the greatest issue in terms of happiness. A lot of people live their life feeling as if they need to be successful, but the definition of success is different depending on who you ask. To some, it’s as easy as having a happy family or relationship.
I’ve said my definition of success multiple times, so to quickly repeat myself:
I think success is being famous to some extent, it’s having a little community that supports you and appreciates you.
However, not everyone can reach that.
Many have, and their stories have been told, but even more, stories have been told about those that haven’t achieved that. More people are unknown than famous.
It’s not an issue to not have your story told, but if you cannot get over that idea then it is a bigger issue to not try.
If you wish to have your story told then trying is the greatest way. If you do not try, you cannot get even a centimetre closer to having your story told.
