You don’t need to prove yourself in a year.
It’s easy to get into a mindset where you want to complete a million things in one year, but that isn’t reasonable. In fact, it’s just more damaging.
I am someone who desires to do a lot in life and coming to the understanding that it may not be possible is a harsh one, but then at times, you’ve got to remember how long life is.
Some would say life is too short, but there is a lot that can be completed in such a short time. You may have your whole life ahead of you to complete what you want, you don’t need to spend 1 year trying to cram it in. You should enjoy things at a slower pace.
Life moves quickly, and people may feel like their time or youth is running out, but that isn’t the case.
Times will change, and change is certainly scary. You can easily feel as if things will never be what they once were and that happens to everyone. The passive flow of time is terrifying, and it feels easily wasted. But it isn’t.
You have a long life ahead of you, you will accomplish what you want. It may not be now, tomorrow or even this year, but it will happen.
And when it does, your life may not be the same as it is now, and that’s worrying.
Trying to imagine the far future is almost impossible, no one can predict where they’ll be in 10 years, but can only guess.
But that is 10 years away, you don’t need to work 10 years of work in 1 year. You can take your time.
10 years is 3652 days. That’s a long time!
Take your time, there is no need to rush.
Although, I do also feel as though I have little time. And I do feel like what I’ve posted above. I may never change my thinking, but by putting it into words I’m hoping others may understand themselves a bit better.
