When this blog first launched, it went by a different name. That name was ‘SlippyfopSaga’. I wasn’t keen on the name but and changed it to FabledByte. FabledByte was a name I liked. I thought it was a pretty cool name and was a good one for my writing. But ever since I started writing under my real name, I had less need for FabledByte. And once I started streaming, my username quickly become Slippyfop or SlippyfopTV.
If you ask me if I prefer Slippyfop or FabledByte, I’ll tell you Slippyfop.
So what am I getting out? Well, this blog will be changing its URL. We’ll be going from our WordPress URL to a custom one.
This change will take place ASAP and our new URL will be Slippyfoptv.co.uk
Nothing else will change. The blog will stay and I’ll continue to post and improve it. But I’ll be changing the URL and everywhere that links to it. I’m not trying to get rid of the name fabledbyte, as things accomplished under that name will stay, but I’m slowly moving towards Slippyfop or my real name, Owen Pichelski. Some things will stay under the name FabledByte, mostly my novels on Webnovel. But from now on, I’ll be slowly retiring that name.
I don’t know how changing the URL will affect people, if you have this page bookmarked then you’ll need to update the URL.
The old address should redirect you to the new one but it’s best to update your links if you have them saved.
