Around 1 year ago, I wrote a post about what I wanted to achieve in the year 2020. Let’s just say, I didn’t know about COVID-19 and because of that was very wrong about a lot of things but also right about some.

Let’s start off with the things relating to writing.
First things first, I did complete Continuous School. My web novel ended with 205 chapters and 3 epilogue chapters, bringing it to 208 chapters in total.
Overall, I’m pleased with Continuous School. At the time of writing, it has 240k views. Which is far more than I ever imagined.
I also wanted to publish a novel in 2020, and I didn’t just publish one novel, I published three!
I was pleased to have released them and enjoyed working on them all. Even if they never “took off” they are always going to be on Amazon for people to stumble across many years from now (or never)
I don’t have much else to talk about with them, so let’s move onto stuff related to drawing. In the post, I talk a little bit about drawing, and I think I’ve come a long way. I originally had a new years resolution to draw something I would want to hang up on my wall. Sadly, I never got to complete this new years resolution, but I can show some of my progress over the year and previous years. I sort of developed my style a bit by the end. I ended up really like messy lines and kept that.
Below is an image showing the progress from late 2019 to late 2020. There’s a lot of doodles and not complete images, this was mainly because I got into the habit of just doing quick doodles and was unable to spend hours working on one thing. You can probably find some downgrades in my most recent stuff compared to late 2019, but recently I’ve been trying to experiment with my art style and come up with new and easier ways to draw things (which I believe has helped a lot)
Next, let’s talk about the Culture Collective, or more importantly, Arbitrary Echo.
Although, the Culture Collective did ‘stop’, I did end up starting a new podcast with my friend from university. That podcast is called Arbitrary Echo. Arbitrary Echo started late in the year, but we’ve had around 13 episodes and they’ve been so much fun to record. And, because of this, my goal of getting back into YouTube and Live Streaming started to appear again. I got back onto Twitch (although kinda late), and started uploading videos to the Arbitrary Echo YouTube Channel. I also released a few highlight videos of my twitch stuff.
You could say that Arbitrary Echo is what the Culture collective could have been, but there’s no point worrying about that, although I’m annoyed about it, Arbitrary Echo wouldn’t exist and my life would be completely different.
We can’t talk about 2020, without talking about my graduation. I did finish my final year of university, and I did go into game development, but sadly, if you follow my YouTube channel, then you know that failed. The two games I wanted to make were put on indefinite hiatus due to my lack of planning and motivation. I’m not going to make excuses for myself, even now I wish I could create games, but I know that if I focused on that, my life would be worse off then it already is.
Finally, Let’s talk about the little things. I never did meet the girl of my dreams. And I’m still depressed. My life is yet to have a big life-changing event that happens in every film or TV show to give us false hope, but there is still the possibility of it. The dream I mention in my post from last year is still there. I do still believe that comedians, creators, artists, musicians, hosts, singers, actors and loads more entertainment industry look like they are having the time of their lives, and would love to join them.
