Seven Deadly Sins season 3 (REVIEW)

Come one! Come all! To the joke that is Seven deadly sins season 3.

If you liked the first and second seasons, then give up. This season is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen in my life.

I can describe it with several words: Underwhelming, disappointing, uninspired, boring, and just generally bad.

But where to begin?

When the first episode aired, I remember the hate for the censorship. I was part of the hate. They censored all the blood and guts in such a strange way.

All the blood was made to be white and the guts were just black.

It looked as if the demons were full of semen more than anything else and was not pleasant.

Animation:

Yeah… just yeah…

It’s bad. Not like typical harem anime bad as those are usually bearable. This is just awful. You’ve probably seen memes from how bad it looks. I understand that a last-minute studio change caused it to be rushed but they could have delayed it. Seeing as the first two seasons had decent animation, this is just bad. Slideshow fights are better than this. There were moments where it looked promising and showed some improvement. But it quickly reassured us that it would not be staying and went back to being bad. 

Story:

Seven deadly sins has a good story. This does not do it justice. This was supposed to have some of the best fights from the manga. This season was promising as it was meant to give us some amazing moments from such a great manga. But it just ate them and spit them out only to salvage what creation it just made from its own saliva.

It’s rushed. But what isn’t? 

Music:

It’s alright. I guess it’s the same as the first two seasons but not really as good as its too slow to have epic moments that require the badass soundtrack to play. Plus you won’t really pay attention to it as you’re too busy crying from how awful this show turned out to be.

Season 4 is supposed to come out this year. They should delay it as it’ll be the same results. Unless it was given to a different studio or was in development before season 3, it will only be bad.

That’s it. I’m done with this review. Something short and something not sweet. If there is another season, I really hope they take their time with it and delay it if needed.
