Before this chapter starts I want to quickly mention that this is the last chapter of Gang Wars. As I said before I am cancelling this series. I will not be carrying it on and even though there are tons of unanswered questions I shall not return to this series if I do it will be very different. Thank you for understanding and enjoy.

Inside the capital lies hundreds of different buildings, from small family homes to corporate skyscrapers looking down on society. At the centre of it all is one building that towers over the rest, that is where the ones who are in control watch as they slowly destroy everything.
Before it was taken over by The Claws it used to be a meeting point for leaders from all around the world. A meeting was held every year where nations would gather and discuss any global crisis.
Due to the current circumstances, the meeting was delayed with the nation’s leaders all agreeing to delay it, just so they don’t have to deal with what was going on inside. However, there was currently a meeting taking place inside, one where the strongest were gathering worried about their own extinction, trying to come up with a plan to remain in control; these are the generals of The Claws
Tom Reilly. A smart but dangerous child. Despite his age, he has complete control over the other generals, they wouldn’t try and fight him. He will kill anyone in his way to get what he wants and will happily betray those close to him just to succeed.
“So… Shall we get this meeting started?”
Tom sat at the end of a large table whilst everyone else all gathered at the other end of the room.
“About Kyle Right?”
Out of everyone in the capital, there was no engineer quite like Jessica. At only 16 she managed to mass produce a weapon that took the black market by storm, she is indirectly responsible for the deaths of over 100,000 people whilst earning millions for herself, her talent was picked up by Tom a year later and now serves as a general for The Claws making weapons and machinery to win any war.
“Indeed. They have decided to keep fighting. Such a shame and I gave him a warning and everything.”
“Why are they still alive then? Are you messing with them.”
“Maybe…. Or maybe I have a soft spot for my good old partners in crime…”
“Do we know where they are?”
“Of Course we do!”
A strangely altered voice spoke up from a computer located in the centre of the table.
“Owl! I take that as you’ve found them?” Tom asked.
“Would you expect anything less of me. It appears that April has been spotted entering the capital. Perhaps they plan to finish this sooner then we thought?”
“Ah, my lovely sister, how I miss her so…”
“Shall I show you the video footage we recorded of her?”
“NO! I DON’T WANT TO SEE HER UNTIL THE DAY…. Ahhh… I can’t wait…. Just thinking about it is making me so excited. I can’t wait to finally see you again my dear Sis. Once I’ve taken you away I wonder what kind of face Kyle will make. I CAN’T WAIT, THIS SIMPLY CAN’T COME ANY SOONER, I CAN’T CONTAIN MYSELF!”
Tom waltzed around the room, swinging around a rusted knife covered in his own blood, drifting into madness.
“Would you like something to clean up the cut on your hand?”
“No… the pain feels too good to clean up….Anyway Jessica? How is Clown doing?”
“I’ve received a report that he had just landed in the location and is currently fighting, his body cam is active if you want to have a look?”
“Very well…”
The computer displayed images of broken buildings scattered on the floor located in a desert, piled up. Clown moved through the sea of rubble crushing anything he stood on. As clown moved his shadow loomed the remains of the buildings, covering them in complete darkness. There were no signs of life in the video, only destruction.
“Hmm… It seems he is doing well…”
“Yes, as you instructed. He should be back here by the end of the day, meaning that as long as Kyle and April don’t attack today we should be fine.”
“Good. I doubt they will attack today, Kyle wouldn’t let April just run into battle unprepared.”
“So… What’s the plan then.”
“Is there anything I can do?” Asked Owl
“No. Owl, as of today you are to do nothing, your job is done…”
“Wait but what does that mean?”
“Isn’t it obvious? You’ve done everything I needed you to do, thanks to you we can move onto the next stage. You truly have been very helpful to us, we shall propose a toast in your honour.”
Jessica slowly approached Tom with a glass of champagne handing it to him whilst quickly returning without exposing her back.
“Ah. Why Thank you, sir! I Greatly appreciate everything you have do-”
BANG BANG
The sound of bullets firing echoed from the computer causing Jessica to cower in fear whilst Tom smiled happily taking a sip from his glass.
“Was that you Clown?” Tom asked.
Footsteps could be heard on the other end of the computer, slowly getting louder and louder, followed by the sound of typing.
Y…E…S
“Perfect, it appears Clown made it after all. Honestly, I’m surprised he couldn’t tell that the footage we showed him was old, some hacker he was…”
“I-is t-that going to happen to m-me?”
“No no Jessica. Listen, you are crucial. I’m not stupid enough to kill you; if I kill you then how will I deal with Clown? Hm? Besides, It’s about time we began the next stage. Ah…. I can’t wait to meet you again….”

As I said last week, this will be the end for Gang Wars. I already had this chapter out so it felt like a waste to just throw it away. It introduces the other generals as well as some more about Tom’s character. I wish I could have finished Gang Wars but as I explained before I sadly won’t be able to. I hope you will keep supporting me and thank you for understanding.
