So I decided that I just wanted to post a little update for you all.
Starting tomorrow I will be starting my first “big” project that will be around 20 chapters long. Although Continuous School will definitely last longer, these chapters are longer (slightly) and follow one central story (I guess is how to explain it) basically I’m writing a story that you would expect to find in a book shop, but I’m aware that it will never be good enough to be in a book shop.
The current issue I’m facing is the consistency with chapters, reading back on them I think some are definitely weaker than others, however, I don’t want to keep pushing and delaying this because it’s not up to an impossibly high standard I’ve set myself. So I shall keep working on them until the day they need to be released.
The plan is to release 1 chapter a week until it is finished. There will be some small hiatuses involved as I will need to focus on some real life stuff that is happening around those times.
But I’ll make sure to keep the schedule page updated so you can see when something is on hiatus or not.
All that being said, starting tomorrow is my first ‘proper’ story, ‘Gang Wars’.
I’m not very good at explaining and selling things to people but I’ll try my best to give a brief description of what will happen.
Kyle is a 19-year-old boy who tried to hide and leave his past life behind by attending university far away. Things were going well for him until he meets a rich girl from the life he tried to forget about, who is claiming that she needs Kyle’s help to save everyone just like what they both accomplished before. Kyle, having no option but to accept, must now dig up his mysterious past and stop the threat to civilisation.
I apologise if it wasn’t a very good explanation but regardless I hope you will stick with me and enjoy it along the way.
SCHEDULE CHANGES:
Originally I was posting new stories every Tuesday, however, that will now change to Monday. Gang Wars will be posted on Monday’s instead of the usual Tuesday slot. This is to account for Continuous school which will now be updated twice a week instead of once. Starting tomorrow, Continuous School will be updated on Wednesday and Friday with a chapter of Gang Wars going up on Monday. The transition period might be awkward at first but hopefully should be smooth eventually.
